Police say Demi Moore and her family were not at home when a man was found dead in the actress’s backyard pool Sunday.
Moore, mother of Rumer Willis, Scout Willis and Tallulah Willis, has yet to comment on the events or the police investigation. Law enforcement reportedly told E! News the family was not involved in any way.
Sources also told the site the 21-year-old man’s cause of death was accidental drowning. An anonymous 911 call led police to the home early Sunday morning, and a source told E! News that police and fire officials found five people at the home when they arrived. No details were immediately available about who those five people were or whether they had any connection to Moore or her family.
Police have still not released the name of the man who died or any details about why he was in Moore’s pool.
According to the Los Angeles County Coroner’s Office, the man was pronounced dead at 5:34 a.m. Later in the morning, just past 7 a.m., law enforcement officials ruled the death to be accidental.
According to E! News, the entire family in currently in New York City. Rumer is there preparing for her starring role in the Broadway musical Chicago, and Scout lives there. Moore and Tallulah recently spent time in Paris before heading to join the rest of their family in the Big Apple, the site reports.
