There's a lot of controversy surrounding the Duggar family, and Jill and her husband, Derick Dillard, appear to be trying to distance themselves from the drama in Arkansas as they head to their international mission destination.
Taking to Instagram on Sunday, Jill's sister, Jessa, shared a regram picture of the couple getting ready to board a plane, along with a message about their mission work.
"So excited for @jillmdillard &@derickdillard! They've been praying about and working towards this transition since late last year, and are so excited to finally be heading to the mission field! Please continue to pray for them! And be sure to check out their blog at www.dillardfamily.com 'Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature.' Mark 16:15," Jessa captioned the pic.
You can keep up to date with the family's mission via their web page, which they updated on Sunday to inform fans that they were currently unable to confirm their destination although it is somewhere international.
"For security purposes, at this time, we're not publicly discussing specific times and places of international service," the couple's blog post reads. "However, we are glad we were able to celebrate the independence of this great nation 239 years ago once more before we depart! As we soon serve God elsewhere we will continue to pray every day for America."
Fans have been speculating as to where the couple is headed, with suggestions including El Salvador and Nepal. But not everyone is excited to see them go.
"I'm literally about to cry but I'm super happy for @jillmdillard and@derickdillard and may God bless you and y'all's family on your journey to serve him," one fan wrote.
Others shared similar sentiments about how much they will miss the couple.
"Will miss them. May God protect and keep them, and lead and guide them by His Spirit," one person wrote.
"We'll pray for them I will miss them I love they show, this is a good thing they're doing spreading the word of the lord...," another commenter said.
