Things are looking pretty dire for Bobbi Kristina Brown, according to the latest statement from her family.
The daughter of the late iconic singer Whitney Houston and R&B star Bobby Brown was found unresponsive in a bathtub on Jan. 31. Now, almost six months later, she has not improved, and doctors say there is nothing else they can do.
Bobbi’s aunt Pat Houston shared the sad news with press today that the young music heiress is being moved to hospice.
“Despite the great medical care at numerous facilities, Bobbi Kristina Brown’s condition has continued to deteriorate,” the statement read. “As of today, she has been moved into hospice care.”
“We thank everyone for their support and prayers. She is in God’s hands now.”
A family source told People that Bobbi’s health has worsened recently.
“She’s skin and bones now. She has been losing weight, she’s been losing hair,” the insider revealed. “They were taking good care of her, but she has no muscle tone at all. There has been some worry that her organs are shutting down.
“The family and her father are just taking things one day at a time. She’s just in God’s care and it’s whatever he decides… The heartbreak and pain we feel in seeing her that way is beyond words.”
So far, Bobbi’s partner Nick Gordon has not commented on the discouraging news.
