In what could be a match made in superhero heaven, Marvel is desperate to get Queen Bey into some Spandex and throw around some magical powers. We want it, yesterday!

Beyoncé and Jay Z recently moved from New York to an exclusive part of Beverly Hills, just a canyon away from the glitz and glamor of Hollywood. Does the mother of Blue Ivy want to focus her career more on acting? It sure does seem so.

Marvel Studios revealed to the Daily Star that "we would love to have Beyoncé on board, almost certainly as a newcomer to the screen from Marvel's existing catalog of comic book characters."

Marvel appears to be circling four characters as possible vehicles for the mega-star.

1. Boom Boom

This swordswoman first appeared in the Fallen Angels comic books, is the rebellious alter ego of Tabitha Smith and has the ability to deploy deadly plasma bombs.

2. Tigra

This humanoid-tiger creature could be a better aesthetic fit for Beyoncé's feline charms and catlike agility.

3. Blink

Also known as Clarice Ferguson, Blink is a mutant with the ability to teleport any person, animal or thing. She is typically depicted with lavender skin and violet hair.

4. Hawkeye

We don't mean the character of Clinton Barton played by Jeremy Renner in the Avengers films. This Hawkeye is also the alter ego of Katherine Bishop, a regular teenager with intense archery skills. Even though Clinton Barton is known as Hawkeye, Bishop still uses the name because she considers herself his protégé.

But the truth is, Beyoncé is sort of a superhero all on her own. Her superpower is singing, and we'd be fine with Marvel giving Sasha Fierce a fancy sparkly outfit and letting her fight for justice as herself. Of course, that's unlikely to happen, but it would be interesting if she inspired a new heroine or villainess.

If all goes well, we could see Yoncé as early as 2018 if they decide to put her into one of the two Avengers sequels, currently titled Infinity War — Part I and Infinity War — Part II.
