Mockingjay‘s new trailer celebrates sisterhood, brings fans to tears (VIDEO)

The new trailer for The Hunger Games: Mockingjay — Part 2 focuses on what’s most important in life: family.

We’re all holding our collective breath as we wait for the final installment in the Hunger Games films, and this little taste of what’s to come is delicious while also pulling on our heartstrings.

If there’s one thing we know about Katniss Everdeen (Jennifer Lawrence), it’s that she’ll do anything for the ones she loves. The whole drama started when her little sister, Primrose (Willow Shields), was chosen to take part in the notorious Hunger Games. But Katniss knew her sister was too young and pure of heart to compete in a fight to the death, so big sis stepped in for her, taking her place.

So why are we all so emotional over a movie trailer? Probably because The Hunger Games is more than just a movie to most of us. We experienced the drama in the books and then had the extreme pleasure of seeing it all come to life on the big screen. We also fell in love with Jennifer Lawrence and for many of us, we’ll never see her as anyone other than Katniss. We just don’t want this crazy, romantic, nostalgic, violent, inspiring story to come to an end.
