Tyler Baltierra calls Farrah out for her women empowerment BS (VIDEO)
It still makes me feel really old that the Teen Mom ladies are being called OGs… but the first season of Teen Mom OG sure was full of interesting ups and downs that I forgot I cared.
And during the second recap, we got to see some pretty interesting interviews with the cast.
Besides Farrah Abraham getting a little weird with her mom, we got some explosive comments from Catelynn Lowell's fiancé Tyler Baltierra, who threw the first punch, so to speak.
After the couple got all teary-eyed about new baby Nova, "What a surreal experience," said Teresa, who is the adoptive mother of Carly, Catelynn and Tyler's first daughter. "Six years ago, I walked out here with Carly in my arms, and now I'm here with Nova."
Baltierra then decided to poke the beehive by saying he thought Abraham's adult film career wasn't empowering and that it was "bullshit" in response to Dr. Drew pointing out that many women in that field are doing it to make money for their families. To which Baltierra replied, "Yeah, but a percentage of teen moms do not have the ability to do a porn knowing it's going to freak out, blow up the internet." He said he thinks Abraham did it to make a weak buck, not to empower women.
Shots fired, ladies and gents.
But things went from a boil to a simmer when Dr. Drew brought out all the other cast members. The attention turned to the feud between Maci Bookout and Abraham. Bookout apologized for the explosive fight she had with Abraham, saying her problem was with MTV, not specifically with Abraham.
Abraham replied, "I appreciate and I understand your apology. And I understand if you don't want somebody to be a part of it because of other assumptions when you signed an agreement."
Dr. Drew was able to mend the fence completely, getting Bookout to say, "I want [a relationship] with you! We all know how alone we can feel in our situations, and I think it's important to know that we always have the four of us. I will always have their back because they're the only three who know exactly what we've all been through."
