Somebody really wanted to rub Bobby Flay’s nose in his divorce drama by ruining one of the biggest moments of his life.
The celebrity chef received his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on Tuesday, but instead of getting to enjoy the moment, it was tarnished by a flying indictment.
An unknown person hired an airplane to pull a banner above the ceremony that said in big, bold, black lettering, “Cheater.”

As Flay raised his fist in triumph to celebrate his name joining the prestigious rank of stars, the sign loomed overhead for about an hour.
Flay is in the midst of a nasty divorce in which his estranged wife, Stephanie March, alleges that Flay cheated on her.
The mudslinging between the two has been going on for months now and it’s apparently all about that cold, hard cash and property they shared together. If Flay indeed cheated on March, then the prenuptial agreement they had would be void.
But so far, neither has been able to successfully prove the allegations of infidelity and Flay has denied all wrongdoing.

Furthermore, March has accused Flay of “bullying through economic warfare,” after she claims he canceled her credit cards to try to force her into signing a settlement agreement. He also apparently threatened to kick her and her sick mother out of their marital home.
Flay, who has been avoiding social media since all of the divorce drama became public, has yet to comment on the banner at his Walk of Fame ceremony.
