DWTS: Aw! Ashton Kutcher tweets support for Rumer Willis

Rumer Willis has earned plenty of fans during her time on Dancing with the Stars, but it’s her lifelong fans who keep catching our attention. Sure, her daddy, Bruce, was in the crowd… crying, but something bigger happened online.

Kutcher may no longer be playing stepdad to Rumer Willis, but that doesn’t mean he’s not still a supportive figure in her life. Need proof of his commitment to stand by her side and show her love? Look no further than his most recent tweet in support of Rumer’s moves on Dancing with the Stars.

Will any of his nearly 17 million followers take the initiative to call and vote for Rumer, even if they don’t watch the show? Who knows, but she’s been so good, we doubt she needs his bump in votes anyway. It was still awesome to see he’s rooting for her, though.

Despite a 15-year age difference, Demi Moore and Kutcher began dating just three years after her divorce from Rumer’s action hero dad, Bruce Willis. Soon after the two publicly admitted their romance, Rumer admitted in an interview that their relationship felt weird to her. The age difference soon became less of an issue and Kutcher became a stable and loved figure for all three of Moore’s children.

By 2005, the couple was married in an intimate, private ceremony. And, while their wedding was private, they flew their love like a big-ol’ flag on social media. They tweeted adorable messages to and about each other. Moore’s Twitter handle was even @MrsKutcher. Could they be any cuter? For nearly six years, the online love fest was never ceasing, even amid cheating rumors. In 2011, though, Kutcher’s busy filming schedule seemed to take its toll on the couple. By the end of the year, Moore announced their split and even not-so-subtly hinted at Kutcher’s infidelity.

Things may not have ended very amicably, but it looks as though Kutcher hasn’t forgotten his ties to Moore’s kids. That’s pretty sweet, no?
