Hilary Duff's estranged husband fights back in heated custody battle
Hilary Duff is engaged in a bitter battle with her estranged husband, Mike Comrie.
So, what are they fighting over? According to TMZ, Comrie and Duff are engaged in a custody battle, because the ex-hockey player is demanding joint custody of their 3-year-old son, Luca.
In Duff's divorce petition, she filed for primary physical custody of their son, and she only wanted Comrie to have visitation rights, but Comrie is not going to give up without a fight.
Sources close to the couple tell the publication that the Cinderella Story actress has concerns about Comrie's parenting skills and his "partying ways," which is one of the reasons why Duff reportedly filed for divorce in the first place.
Comrie and Duff separated amicably in January 2014, but the Lizzie McGuire star only filed for divorce in February 2015, and at the time, there were claims that she threw in the towel because Comrie had allegedly asked a woman for sex at Mastro's in Beverly Hills, California.
Aside from the custody battle, the pair appears to be seeing eye to eye on other aspects of their divorce proceedings, with TMZ reporting that both agree that they have a prenup to sort out their property and other aspects.
