Kenan Thompson is widely known for his Bill Cosby impressions, but when he stopped by the University of Pittsburgh on Monday, his jokes about the former The Cosby Show star were apparently pretty harsh.
According to the University of Pittsburgh’s student paper, The Pitt News, Thompson branded Cosby a “monster” during his stand-up routine. The paper claims Thompson spoke about how Cosby has transformed from one of his biggest “comedy inspirations” into a “monster,” following the multiple sexual assault claims against him.
While the paper reports that most of Thompson’s jokes were about his weight and the effect it has on his interactions with women, one Reddit user, Definitely_Ambiguous, claims the Saturday Night Live star had much more to say about Cosby.
According to the Reddit user, “[Thompson] said he, like so many others, noticed kind of odd behavior awhile [sic] ago and just never put it all together. He said he wished someone had a recording or something so [Cosby] can go to jail.”
The Redditor also claims Thompson recalled a vulgar incident with Cosby after he first introduced him to his mother and he “bounced her on his lap and said something about horse riding like a kiddie.”
Thompson allegedly also opened up about a vile comment Cosby made while on the set of the film Fat Albert (which Thompson starred in and Cosby wrote the screenplay for). The user paraphrased what Thompson reportedly said, saying, “So Cosby pulled me aside and said that after the movie comes out, it’ll be so hard to keep the women off you, you’ll need two dicks.” Gross.
If the claims are true, it’s pretty surprising that someone like Thompson, who once had so much respect for Cosby, now seems to have turned his back on him, too.
