NKOTB or New Edition? Debbie Gibson talks all about the '80s (VIDEO)
Debbie Gibson ruled the '80s, so naturally we assumed she'd be an expert on the decade. Guess what? We were right.
Gibson passed our SheKnows rapid fire test with flying colors. The musician, who also recently spoke to us about how being a pop star in the '80s was so much different than it is now, answered all our important trivia questions about the radical decade. Some of our questions were pretty tough. Who do you know who remembers if Kissing Potion was a product or a band?
Gibson also gave us her opinion on Axl Rose, tight-rolled jeans versus leggings tucked into socks and how she really feels about the ultimate '80s boy band, New Kids on the Block. While we agree with her on most of her answers, some of us would totally pick jellies over scrunchies.
Watch the video above and let Gibson take you on a bodacious ride back in time.
And, don't forget to watch Gibson in her new film The Music In Me, airing on the UP Network on Friday, April 24 at 9/8c. The movie is all about a small town girl who has given up her dreams of musically performing only to rediscover her joy of singing and songwriting through her work in a failing church choir.
