We’re used to seeing LeAnn Rimes’ Instagram bikini pics, but this one has a really great message hidden in the comments.
Rimes posted a photo of herself perched on a boat in a teeny weeny bikini, which she does quite often. Upon first glance the shot is notable only for the fact that other than a little Instagram filter action, it isn’t Photoshopped — stretch marks are clearly visible on the singer’s hips. And that’s a big deal.

Rimes addressed those stretch marks, and her idea of how a woman can get a bikini body, in a couple of really great comments she made on her own photo. When someone asked if her bikini bottom was a thong, her reply turned into a fantastic statement on positive body image.
So ladies, this summer get yourself that bikini — the teenier the better — and show off those bikini bodies, stretch marks and all!
