These abuse allegations about Teen Mom star Adam Lind are truly horrible
Teen Mom 2 star Adam Lind is no stranger to scandal and controversy, but this latest report about his behavior is quite possibly the most shocking of them all.
According to Radar Online, Lind's ex-girlfriend, Jessica Nicole, recently filed court documents in South Dakota's Minnehaha county circuit court to get a restraining order against him. And in the docs, she has reportedly made some pretty horrific abuse allegations.
Nicole allegedly claims that she suffered abuse at the hands of Lind during their relationship and in recent weeks. The publication notes one incident in which she reportedly claimed that when she tried to leave their home Lind started "choking" and "hitting her" as well as starting to "break things" and "flipping over the table."
Even after the relationship ended, Nicole apparently claimed that the abuse did not. Lind reportedly continued to phone and text her, and even drive by her grandmother's house in a "threatening fashion."
"I was told… that he would come after my family and that he would 'crush my skull,'" she writes in the court documents, according to Radar Online. "When I told him that would obviously kill me, he said, 'Oh well, I'd already be going to prison.'"
There was a period of silence but when the threats resumed, Nicole reportedly decided to file court papers detailing Lind's alleged steroid use — and she's now getting threats from other people, too.
"I am now getting threats through other people from Adam who has already severely physically harmed me," she writes in the papers.
According to Radar Online, sources told them that a temporary order of protection was denied because of insufficient evidence, although the court ordered a hearing to be held on April 28.
Let's hope the truth comes out about these allegations, in whoever's favor that might be in.
