Chelsea Handler insists Bill Cosby is guilty from firsthand experience
Bill Cosby might have some people convinced that he is innocent of all the recent sexual assault allegations, but there's one person that doesn't need to hear any of the details to know that the reports are true, and her name is Chelsea Handler.
During an interview with Esquire, the comedian casually mentioned that she had her very own situation with her fellow stand-up comedian. Mid-conversation about sexual routine, Handler told the magazine about the time she had one scary encounter with the funnyman in Atlantic City. As her story goes, Handler was doing stand-up in the same hotel as Cosby many moons ago, and sometime during the afternoon, a hotel rep told Handler that Cosby wanted to meet up with her in his hotel suite.
"This was like 10 years ago. And I said, 'That's really weird. I don't want to go alone. I go, I don't know him," she recalled. Handler said she had a small production crew of men with her at the time because she was filming something, so she brought them up with her and couldn't be more thankful that she did.
Even though it's been months since allegation after allegation have flooded the media, Handler says she didn't think about her encounter with the comedian until just recently when her friend sent her a text, reminding her of the scenario. Yikes!
"He said, 'Hello! You could've been one of his victims if we weren't there.' And I went, 'Oh my gosh…' Yeah, so yeah, he's guilty," Handler concluded.
Handler is just the latest female to come forth with sexual assault accusations against Cosby. Even though he's remained silent on the subject, it appears that the overload of accusers has already swayed the public's opinion on the former beloved funnyman.
