Well, this is certainly one hairy situation. During Michelle Obama’s recent appearance on the long-running game show Jeopardy, she was seen sporting a drastically different hairdo.

The First Lady was on the show in a bid to promote her Let’s Move anti-childhood obesity campaign, but instead of focusing on the questions that she was asking about healthy eating, fans headed to Twitter to ask why the heck she was going “bald,” in the hopes that someone could provide them with an answer.

Some people even thought they had the explanation for Michelle’s new ‘do, claiming that it was just tied back in a sleek ponytail or a bun, or perhaps she just got a haircut. It’s also worth noting that different camera angles and lighting can drastically alter an appearance.
