Michelle Duggar considered a hypocrite over her daughters' bathroom selfie (PHOTO)
The Duggar clan have once again made headlines for the wrong reasons, but this time Jana Duggar and her sister Jinger have been caught in the crossfire.
During a recent family trip to Texas, the two sisters posed for a picture outside a rather dingy-looking men's public bathroom, and they seemed pretty upset with having to use it. Their horrified faces actually make this photo pretty adorable, and Jana's expression is hilarious — which is probably why the family posted the picture on their official Facebook account.
But here's the problem: In August, Michelle Duggar made a controversial robocall phone message campaigning against an anti-discrimination bill in Arkansas that would allow transgender men and women to use their preferred public bathroom.
It is no secret that the family has very conservative views and during the recorded phone conversation, Michelle vehemently protested against the bill. She can be heard saying, "I doubt that Fayetteville parents would stand for a law that would endanger their daughters or allow them to be traumatized by a man joining them in their private space."
"We should never place the preference of an adult over the safety and innocence of a child," she added.
So, what makes it OK for Michelle's own girls to use the men's bathroom then? Michelle's seeming hypocrisy is coming under fire because if her children can choose which public bathroom they want (or need) to use, why can't transgender men and women be afforded the same rights?
