The surprise in question? Apparently, after the former Olympian completes his alleged transformation, he will make his debut as a woman on Dancing with the Stars, Radar Online reports. And there is a special reason for Jenner reportedly wanting to make such a public debut.

He "wants his public debut as a woman to be very big, and there is no better platform than going on Dancing with The Stars," an insider told the site. "He's taking a cue from Chaz Bono. Bruce was so impressed with how he handled himself on the show."

According to the site, Jenner is pretty keen to be on the show, having only not appeared on Season 20 — which features Noah Galloway, Charlotte McKinney, Michael Sam and Redfoo — because of poor timing.

"Recently, Bruce had been in talks to appear on the current season, but the timing didn't work out," the source revealed. "Since he is planning on undergoing a sex change operation this summer, the fall would be a perfect time for Bruce to introduce himself to the world as a woman."

There has been no confirmation from Jenner himself about whether he is or isn't undergoing any kind of transformation, but whatever is going on behind the scenes, the important thing is not his sexuality, but that he is happy and healthy.
