For some reason, we’re in love with the idea of Katie Holmes and Jamie Foxx falling in love.
Though romance rumors have been swirling around the two since 2013, neither has confirmed they’re an item. Still, a source tells People the stars “spend hours together.”

And they, surprisingly, have a lot in common.
1. They live close to one another
Holmes gave up her New York pad last summer and moved to Los Angeles, where she lives in a home close to Foxx. According to the same source who spoke with People, Holmes visits Foxx “often.”
2. They’re actors
This is an obvious one, but it’s meant on a deeper level. They are both in the spotlight in a way only few people in the world can understand. It must be nice to have someone who can sympathize and relate to the pressures of fame.

3. They are both single parents…
Holmes is famously divorced from Tom Cruise, while Foxx has never been married. But he has two daughters from two different women.
4. With daughters
Holmes’ daughter, Suri Cruise, is now 8 years old. Foxx’s daughters, Corinne and Annalise Bishop, are 20 and 5 years old, respectively.
5. They keep their personal lives as personal as possible
Foxx won’t discuss the two women who are the mothers of his daughters, just as Katie Holmes isn’t open to discussing her past with Tom Cruise.

6. They run in the same circles
From charities to sporting events, Holmes and Foxx are often in the same place at the same time. They both attended the fourth annual Apollo in the Hamptons Benefit in 2013 and they were seen together at a Super Bowl party last year.
7. They’re both into fashion
Holmes had a clothing line with stylist Jeanne Yang called Holmes & Yang, but the line went dark before the launch because Holmes was reportedly convinced Yang was snitching to the tabloids, according to Celebrity Dirty Laundry.
And while the two are definitely stirring up some serious dating rumors, People‘s source insists it’s nothing serious and while the two are “seeing each other,” they aren’t in fact officially dating. Uh-huh.
