Teen Mom star Tyler Baltierra is working on an exciting new project, and he’s just revealed some interesting details about it.

Things in Baltierra’s life are pretty great right now. He and his fiancée Catelynn Lowell just welcomed their second child into the world, Novalee Reign (their first daughter, Carly, was put up for adoption) and the happy couple recently released their memoir titled Conquering Chaos, but it’s not going to be the last book by Baltierra.
Baltierra recently revealed during an interview with Radar Online that he is working on a novel, and it’s going to have a drug focus — something he has experience writing about because in his memoir he revealed what it was like growing up with a drug addict father.

“I’m writing a novel right now about a heroin addict, a girl,” Baltierra told the publication. “That’s my next project.”
Baltierra also went on to explain that he loves being creative, and his literary dreams are a great outlet for that creativity.
“I enjoy writing,” he explained. “It’s one of my favorite things to do. I like to be creative.”

So, when can we expect his novel to hit the shelves?
“I don’t have a set plan,” he admitted. “I don’t want to be pressured to finish it. I want to write freely and at my own pace.”
Given his comments about not wanting to be pressured into finishing it, we think we may all have to wait a while to read Baltierra’s novel, but we’re super excited nonetheless.
