Figueroa compared the First Lady’s appearance to that of someone from the cast of Planet of the Apes, saying, “Mind you, you know that Michelle Obama looks like she’s part of the cast of Planet of the Apes, the film.”
In case you are unfamiliar with the film, it’s a 1968 sci-fi film where astronauts find themselves stranded on futuristic planet where apes rule and humans are their slaves.
According to E! News, the Emmy-winning host made the derogatory remark during a segment about makeup transformations alongside makeup artist Paolo Ballesteros, who recently became an internet sensation for his amazing makeup, which sees him dramatically transform into female celebrities including Kim Kardashian, Kylie Jenner and Miley Cyrus.
