Jana Duggar is the oldest Duggar daughter, but unlike her sisters Jill and Jessa, she has no children and is not married, which is why her family reportedly takes advantage of her as a glorified babysitter — but not anymore.

According to OK! magazine, Jana is now ready to fly the coop and take control of her personal and professional life.

"This is probably the first time Jana has really stuck up for herself," a source revealed to the mag, adding that she is planning to leave the family compound for good to pursue her education.

"Jana just turned 25, so she knows she needs to get on with her education if she doesn't want to be stuck at her mom and dad's house in Arkansas forever," the source said. "She told her parents that she was looking at Christian colleges and would be applying soon."

However, according to the source, Jana's decision was not received well by family patriarch Jim Bob and he's reportedly trying to persuade her otherwise. But Jana realizes that if she's going to leave, she needs to do it now before the family gets even bigger and she's stuck with even more babysitting and diaper duties.

Both her sister Jill Dillard and brother Josh Duggar's wife Anna are expecting babies in the near future, and who knows, mom Michelle Duggar might even have baby #20.

If the reports are true, then we are so happy that Jana is willing to pursue her own dreams, even if it's not something that her family may initially agree with. And breaking the family rules and traditions to go out on her own is no small decision.
