Last night the Brit Awards 2015 took place at The O2 arena and, while it was fun to watch on TV, the best gossip came from the famous attendees’ Instagram accounts.
If you want to know what it’s like to attend the Brit Awards look no further than Instagram. The performers, nominees and guests gave us an insight into their glamorous lives by sharing photos and videos throughout the night.
The story begins on Wednesday afternoon with the build up to the main event and the all-important question: what do you wear to the biggest night in the British music calendar? Stars such as Rudimental posted their red carpet looks on Instagram for fan feedback.
The event is so star-studded that you never know who you’ll be sharing a table with. Grace Chatto from Clean Bandit had to take a selfie with her Brits neighbour and fellow nominee Janelle Monae.
Performers included Sam Smith who also picked up the Global Success award. He sang his new single “Lay Me Down” and posted a striking image on Instagram, which already has over 150,000 likes.

Even the artists who didn’t win took to Instagram to congratulate the stars of the night. Ella Henderson was quick to praise Paloma Faith, who beat her to the Best British Female award.
Celebrities showed their support for Madonna after her fall, which has become the most talked-about moment of the night. This meme was posted by Professor Green and Labrinth.

And after the show it’s the after party. Best British Single nominee Jess Glynne performed at the official party at The O2, sharing a pic of herself on stage.
And finally it was left to the party people of the pop world to continue the celebrations into the night.
