It has been one hell of a few weeks for the Kardashian clan.
And this afternoon was just the cherry on top of a really crappy sundae. The family, including Kim, Khloé, younger sister Kylie Jenner and, most terrifyingly, Kim’s toddler daughter North West, were involved in a seriously scary car accident.
While driving in Bozeman, Montana, Khloé Kardashian reportedly skidded on a patch of ice and then slid into a ditch. According to TMZ, who broke the story, Khloé was driving her family when a semi truck passed their vehicle, kicking up snow and blinding her. When she couldn’t see, she began to swerve, hit a patch of black ice and slid, finally coming to a stop in a ditch.
Police did show up on the scene, but there was reportedly no damage to the vehicle and it was a passing motorist who called the authorities.
No citations were issued, and apparently the family was calm by the time police arrived.
The incident seems to be much more of a scary situation than an actual accident, thankfully. But any time you are in a potentially serious position with your family and especially with a small child, it can be super-scary and stressful.
The older girls have broken their silence, letting their fans know they are OK and thankful for God’s good graces during such a scary time. Both Kim and Kourtney posted beautiful photos of scenic Montana with thankful captions.
This comes right on the heels of Bruce Jenner’s involvement in a fatal car accident and in the midst of an annoying amount of Twitter drama between the Kardashians and model Amber Rose.
We are just so glad to hear that everyone is OK! What a scary day.
