Reality TV excitement is reaching fever pitch with Australia’s latest international judge touching down overnight. That’s right, there’s a bit more spice in the local air with Geri Halliwell arriving in Sydney.
Looking every bit the star that she is, Halliwell was spotted walking through the airport in large sunglasses, a leather jacket, a mini skirt and boots, with her famed locks loose around her shoulders.
Yet her cutest accessory by far was her pint-sized seven-year-old daughter, Bluebell Madonna, who wore a tiny fedora hat and was already clutching a koala bag close to her chest.

It’s the first time the 40-year-old has been Down Under since her Spice Girl days. However, in a link to the all-girl group that made her famous, Halliwell is replacing her pal Mel B (aka Scary Spice) after she got into a legal stoush between rival networks Nine and Channel 7.
Halliwell will quickly set up a base in Sydney but will then hit the road with fellow judges Dawn French, Kyle Sandilands (who she has promised to keep in line) and Timomatic to look for contestants to showcase on Channel Nine’s Australia’s Got Talent. After whittling down the hopefuls, the live shows will be filmed in Sydney later this year.
However, while on the road the pop star has made no bones about also trying to snag a new boyfriend. She told news.com.au that she has a list of qualities she’d like to see in a man:
“I do like funny and a beautiful heart. I quite like a bit of height. Hair, I like hair. I like hair on the head. A little bit on the chest, but not too much, but it’s not a deal breaker for me.”

First though, it looks like she might have to get over her jet lag. Up bright and early today she tweeted: “Some where in the world some one is awake… Forgive me – the next few days I’m going to talk more crap than usual #jetlag.”
