Geri Halliwell bringing royal bum slap to Oz

There’s lots of fun and laughter happening in Geri Halliwell’s life at the moment. She has signed on to be a judge on Australia’s Got Talent and has promised that she’ll bring her infamous Prince Charles bum slap.

The Spice Girl has been announced as the fourth judge on Channel Nine’s AGT, joining the three other judges — Dawn French, Timomatic and Kyle Sandilands. Geri Halliwell is coming to Australia

In an interview with A Current Affair, Ginger Spice admitted she knew about shock jock Sandilands’ reputation.

“I watched some of his tapes. I watched him being interviewed and I think he’s quite a sensitive soul. I don’t know, I’ll get to know him and suss him out, or should I get him in a headlock?… I’ll give him a smack on the bottom if he gets out of control,” she said.

The 40-year-old scored a cheeky reputation after she slapped Prince Charles on his royal bottom.

Meanwhile, Halliwell will be able to get some handy judging tips. She is filling the seat of fellow Spice Girl Mel B, who has been sidelined by the courts following a contract stoush with Channel 7.

Before taking on the role, she told ACA that she did speak to Scary Spice.

“She actually said I just want you to know I think you should do it cause you’re gonna have a great time and I love Australia.”

Even though she has to get busy packing for her move Down Under, the fun-loving singer recently took time out to complete a dare set by Mel B. She popped into a pub and spontaneously sang a Spice Girls classic.

Halliwell later posted on her blog saying, “I feel liberated! Being foolish and sharing it feels real rather good. I was reminded again thanks to my soul sista Mel B.”
