Australia's Next Top Model picks its Top 9

The judges choose their Top 9 on Australia’s Next Top Model. Yolanda Hodgson was eliminated on Australia’s Next Top Model Monday.

Yolanda Hodgson, 22, of Dubbo, NSW was removed in Monday's episode, described by reports as another shock exit, though the prior week's elimination of Neo Yakuac and Caroline Austin was deemed the same.

The model posed in a tribal-themed shoot that she felt turned out very well. The judges apparently disagreed. The judges said she didn't have the right amount of versatility to make it through the competition and made comments on her unchanging facial expressions. Yolanda Hodgson is rumoured to be pursing a contract with Chic Modelling Agency.

The very shoot Yolanda Hodgson thought turned out well involved styling in fur, something that's already drawing the ire of PETA. The shoot took place on Kangaroo Island, a trip temporarily delayed by the Chilean ash cloud that filled the sky in June (once the girls made it there, they got to stay in an eco resort). Each girl had to act like one of the elements, with some of the models deciding this meant going topless a the beach. Prior to their Kangaroo Island trip, the girls visited Sydney Dance Company, where they also had to act out something from nature like the sun or a tree.
