It’s onwards and upwards for Modern Family star, Sarah Hyland, who was spotted making out with her former Vampire Academy costar, Dominic Sherwood.
The couple was seen getting cozy at the opening of new Los Angeles hot spot, Blind Dragon, back in January.
“They were talking close and she had her hand on his leg. Then they would kiss,” a witness told Us Weekly, who confirmed the two are officially dating.

The couple, who played Natalie and Christian Ozera in 2014’s comedy, Vampire Academy, was later seen smooching outside another night club two weeks later.
Sherwood is a huge improvement in the man department for Hyland, whose five-year relationship with Matt Prokop ended when she accused him of choking and otherwise abusing her and she obtained a restraining order against him.
“His grip was so tight that I could not breathe or speak,” she said in the court documents. “I was scared and in fear for my life.”
Prokop also allegedly threatened to kill her dog and burn her house down and “relentlessly bombarded me with vile, threatening and emotionally disturbing texts and voice mails including his own suicide threats,” she said.
We’re so happy she is moving on and it sounds like she is using her past as a learning experience.
“People have to go through things in order to become the person they are today, and that’s that,” she said during an appearance on The Meredith Vieira Show.
