Betty White's hula-inspired 93rd birthday surprise is amazing (VIDEO)
This past weekend was a very special one for legendary actress, singer and television personality Betty White, because she got an extra-special surprise for her 93rd birthday.
White turned 93 years old on Saturday, Jan. 17, and her Hot in Cleveland costars made sure that she had a day to remember. On Friday, White was escorted to the set of the series on a golf cart by Dave Foley, who asked her, "Is today your actual birthday?" To which she simply replies, "Tomorrow."
"I think there might be a little bit of a celebration for your birthday." Foley replied. And he was right.
When she arrived on the set, White was greeted by her assistant doing a hula dance, but it was not just her assistant that got in on the action. All of a sudden, the cast and crew appeared dressed in sarongs, Hawaiian shirts, grass skirts and leis as they performed a very jolly choreographed routine.
White is all smiles as she enjoys the flash mob, and can be seen clapping and waving, but she is even more pleased when her three costars Valerie Bertinelli, Jane Leeves and Wendie Malick join the dance and then everyone shouts, "Happy Birthday, Betty!"
"Every day on set, Betty is greeted by her assistant with a hula — today's hula dance was a very special surprise in honor of her 93rd birthday!" TV Land wrote in the caption of the video.
The video is bound to put a smile on your face, so be sure to watch it below.
We hope you had an amazing birthday, Betty White!
