There's a good reason why Jamie Lynn Spears pulled a knife at Pita Pit
Don't get between Jamie Lynn Spears and her friends.
That's exactly what one person did in what E! News reports was a "restaurant brawl." The result? Spears pulled a serrated knife on the man.
The site reports that Britney Spears' little sis was out with a friend grabbing a late bite when a group of guys started a fight inside the Pita Pit they were visiting. Good thing little Spears' reflexes are quick. She immediately jumped to defend herself and her friend — by grabbing a serrated bread knife from behind the counter.
"I have been with Pita Pit for several years, and have never seen anything like this before," restaurant owner, Jack J. Brighenti, told E! News. "The events that happened occurred after 2 a.m. this past Saturday night just before we closed. A group of males got into an altercation and for some reason Jamie Lynn Spears ran behind the counter and picked up a bread knife. Our management called the police immediately and thankfully nothing else happened. Our passion and focus is and always will be to serve the Hammond community healthy pitas!"
TMZ reports that Spears' friend was actually hit with a bottle in the fight, but when police arrived, she opted not to press charges. There's been no other word of arrests or other action.
Spears has had a pretty quiet life since the abrupt end of her Nickelodeon show, Zoey 101, when she became pregnant at 16 years old. Earlier this year, she got married to a prominent businessman and released her first country album, The Journey.
She hasn't made any mention of the scary Pita Pit incident on her social media, but all else looks well — she recently posted photos of time spent with family over the holidays, a time that looks to have been a happy, peaceful one in the Spears household.
