Teen Mom 2 star Leah Messer reportedly drained her daughter's trust fund
This is one story about Teen Mom 2 star Leah Messer that we really hope is not true, because if it is then it's really very sad.
There have been a lot of reports about Messer lately, whose married name is Calvert, and it seems that she has been going through a hard time in her life. However, if recent reports are to be believed, then her personal problems are now affecting her daughter's welfare, too.
According to Radar Online, In Touch has reported that Messer has taken $50,000 from her disabled daughter Ali's trust fund (we should mention that we couldn't find this story on In Touch). And as most Teen Mom 2 viewers already know, Ali Simms suffers from a rare form of muscular dystrophy.
"The account was totally drained," an insider reportedly revealed to the site. "The money is supposed to go to college tuition, or in Ali's case, medical needs. But Leah took all of it."
Ali's father, Messer's ex-husband Corey Simms, has now apparently gotten wind of what has happened to his little girl's money and is not happy about it.
"He's furious that Ali's future has been wiped away, and he's seeing what he can do to get the money back," the insider reportedly said.
What Messer has reportedly done with the money was not revealed, but it is surprising that she would need to take money from her daughter's trust fund when she's bound to be making a fair chunk of change from the MTV show Teen Mom 2.
However, Radar Online speculated that she might have been blowing cash on a secret painkiller addiction. And In Touch had previously reported that the reality TV star was apparently withdrawing $1000 a week to spend on prescription pills.
Whether this claim is true or not, one thing is for sure: Messer really does appear to love her three girls and it always gushing about them online. We hope that she has not fallen on hard times or made careless decisions that now see her resorting to draining her daughter's trust fund.
