Pippa Middleton talks about Kim Kardashian's butt, makes us all feel ashamed
There are many fans of Kim Kardashian and her half-naked photo shoot for Paper magazine, but Pippa Middleton may not be one of them.
During a piece that Middleton wrote for political weekly The Spectator, the Duchess of Cambridge's sister shed some light on Kardashian's giant derriere, and America's obsession with it.
Middleton herself has made numerous headlines about her own butt — after the world caught a glimpse of it in her bridesmaid dress for her sister's wedding to Prince William — but according to Middleton, Kardashian's booty takes the crown.
"No year is complete without a bottom story, and the 'Rear of 2014' award undoubtedly goes to Kim Kardashian, after her posterior exploded all over the internet last month," Middleton wrote.
"I must say that mine — though it has enjoyed fleeting fame — is not comparable. But the Kim butt story did make me pause. What is it with this American booty culture? It seems to me to be a form of obsession. Kim's aim, apparently, was to break the internet, but I'm not sure she's going the right way about it."
Middleton's comments sound like she may be dissing Kardashian's attempt at breaking the internet and the reasons why she chose to do the shoot. However, she could just be taking aim at America's obsession with the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star's ass.
Regardless of her opinion on the reality TV stars' assets, she does make a pretty good point. Is it really necessary to make such a massive (no pun intended) deal of someone's booty? Are our priorities perhaps a little skewed?
