Well, the subway is where you should have been this weekend if you live in New York City and love Nick Jonas, who allegedly gave a surprise performance in one of the stations.
Well, anyone who was not at the West Fourth Street station in Manhattan at the right time this weekend will be super bummed out right now, because Nick Jonas allegedly put on an impromptu performance with a male buddy in the subway station. Boom! It’s out there.
Yes, it does seem like Nick Jonas does not have a flaw and even puts on free shows for the regular folks frequenting the New York subway. Sigh.
Several fans have taken to social networks to share photos of the “Jealous” singer strumming his guitar on the platform, no doubt belting out tunes from his new self-titled album. While it does seem like Jonas in the shots, the photos have not been confirmed and could have been taken a while ago, although some Twitter users have claimed to have met the singer over the weekend. We’re going to be optimists here and believe this actually happened. Oh Nick, just come to Canada, and bask in our subway stations…

What’s the lesson here? Pay attention to the people performing in the subway, because you could be passing by Nick Jonas. Or Jared Leto, who has also put on shows in subway stations in the past. We’re a little offended Canadian artists don’t do this — we would give away one of our kidneys to run into Sarah McLachlan singing “Sweet Surrender” at a bus shelter or on a subway platform. Step it up, gang.
So, how “Jealous” (see what we did there?) are you that you didn’t get to see Nick perform for free in the good ol’ subway?
