Taylor Swift’s “Blank Space” has been remade into a horror film trailer

Everybody is talking about Taylor Swift’s music video “Blank Space,” because it’s amazing. But somebody actually took the singer’s clip and turned it into a trailer for a potential horror film.

We never thought we’d say this, but Taylor Swift can be pretty scary. Sure, she’s adorable, lovable and kind, but set her actions to a horror film score and it’s a completely different story.

The folks at Slate took Swift’s music video for “Blank Space” and rehashed it as an incredible horror film trailer; it’s actually pretty darn good. Of course, the singer’s original Joseph Kahn video was already infused with many “horror” elements — since Swift was poking fun of the media’s portrayal of her — so taking it to the next level was not too difficult. Wasn’t that fantastic? No wonder Taylor’s character in the music video has been compared to Amy Dunne from Gone Girl; it all fits. We don’t know about you, but we would definitely watch a movie about Taylor Swift going off her rocker and being a grand villain. It’s impressive that a little change in editing and sound can make Swift look so scary.

We love the original, but this interesting take on “Blank Space” is pretty great. What do you think of it? Would you watch a movie with Swift as the lead villain?
