We dare you to try and find a person out there who is unfamiliar with Iggy Azalea’s hit song “Fancy.” Go on. Try! This song is practically the summer anthem of the entire world right now. One may even say from LA to Tokyo…
Well, we love us a good cover and we happened to love us some The Killers, so when these two collided — magic happened. During their concert at the V Festival on Saturday in Staffordshire, U.K., The Killers took a wee break from their set and performed — oh, you guessed it — “Fancy.” You guys, a piano was involved and drummer Ronnie Vannucci accompanied the quick song with a saucy, interpretive dance. This is not a drill. This is real life.

It may have been brief, but it left us yearning for more. That dance… It haunts us. It seems almost out of character for The Killers to cover Iggy Azalea, but it sounded fantastic. Plus, did you hear the crowd go bananas for it? The Killers know what they’re doing. We hope Brandon Flowers can lend his voice to a full version of the song, with Vannucci dancing in a black leotard and heavy eyeliner. Please, please, please!
What do you think of the cover? Would you want to hear The Killers perform the full song?
