6 Scenes from Paris Hilton’s music video we wish we could unsee

Hey, Paris Hilton can do whatever she wants. And she does. Her newest music video for “Come Alive” is all kinds of surreal, but we’re not in love with it wholly.

We can’t say with certainty, but we may have just had an inside look into Paris Hilton‘s mind… Four minutes worth of glittery, frilly, nonsensical things set to a heavy bass beat. We are happy to declare we have survived and will now tell the tale of our adventure.

Fun facts about Paris — Hilton, that is! >>

Hilton released the beautiful music video for her song “Come Alive” on Tuesday, and it’s everything you’ve ever dreamed of — and then some. The video features some clouds, skies, a unicorn, Hilton dressed as an elven creature. It’s basically what life would be like if we all were hooked on certain illegal substances. Take a look!

Cray-cray, right? Hilton seems completely at ease in that environment, though. While we enjoy a bit of colourful silliness every once in a while, some moments in the music video were rather scarring. Actually, quite a few of them were rather scarring. We might need therapy because of the following:

1. This universe cluster

We’re not quite sure what this is supposed to be or what it represents; we just know we don’t understand it. Is it the universe? Is it Paris Hilton’s mind? What is it, and why are we looking at it?

2. This pink marshmallow couch

We are not sure if this is cotton candy or a marshmallow or a cloud, but it needs to stop. What’s wrong with a regular seating area? Why not sit on a chair?

3. All the blooming flowers

Throughout the video, several flowers bloom, but why? Do they symbolize rebirth? Birth? Changes? Metamorphosis? We don’t get it.

5. Whatever is happening here

Obviously every decent music video needs to feature a unicorn and a rainbow; otherwise it’s a waste of everybody’s time. Luckily Hilton figured it all out. Hooray!

6. The crooked moon

If you ignore the fact that Hilton is standing on a hill, half naked in front a moon… Can we all just take note of the fact that the moon is awfully cut out? It’s all jagged, for Pete’s sake! No, no, no.

What did you think of the music video? Is it everything you’ve ever wanted and more? Let us know.
