Doc, are they selling the hoverboard? You bet your sweet bum they are. Now even a commoner such as yourself can own Marty McFly’s iconic hoverboard from Back to the Future II! If you have an extra $20,000 rolling around in them pockets, that is.

The legendary film prop, along with several other pieces of film memorabilia, will be auctioned off at the Vue cinema in London’s Westfield Shopping Centre in October. The hoverboard is being valued between $17,000 and $26,000. It’s made out of wood and, disappointingly enough, does not actually hover — without the use of imagination, at least.

Other items being auctioned off include the golden ticket from Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory and Captain Nemo’s Nautilus Car from The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen.

What do you think? Are you ready to make an investment of a lifetime?
