This man is perfect! Our moods have significantly improved after watching a recent video of Brad Pitt rocking out with Bruno Mars in New Orleans.

OK, well, Brad Pitt is officially the coolest human being on the face of the Earth. Not only is he super talented, married to Angelina Jolie, has 47 gorgeous children and is besties with George Clooney, but the man just casually waltzed onto the stage with a tambourine and brought the house down with Bruno Mars on Saturday. Who do you think you are, Mr. Pitt? Nobody can just nonchalantly do that!

Yet it happened. It was real. It was legit. The 50-year-old actor joined Mars onstage at the Make It Right Gala — a charity owned by Pitt — in New Orleans, and the two just made some sweet music together like it was nobody’s business. The 28-year-old singer introduced the actor to the eager crowd before sinking into a sultry performance of “Sex Machine.” Check it out:

Is there anything not amazing about this performance? Only Bruno Mars has the magnetic pull strong enough to draw Brad Pitt to the stage… Should we be adding musician or “tambourine shaker” to the actor’s resume? He clearly has a keen sense of rhythm.

The gala was attended by a village of celebrities, like Jolie, Sofia Vergara, Sandra Bullock and Chris Rock. Kings of Leon reportedly performed at the event as well. Tickets for this charitable endeavour sold for up to $25,000! But the proceeds go to aid the restoration of the Lower Ninth Ward community of New Orleans, ravaged by Hurricane Katrina in 2005.

What do you think of Pitt’s tambourine-shaking? Is he not the bomb diggity?
