These exclusive photos of Batman vs. Superman graciously shared by director Zack Snyder are really putting our minds at ease. Ben Affleck looks good!

We don’t know why everyone was flipping tables when the news broke that Ben Affleck will be the new caped crusader in the Zack Snyder-directed Man of Steel sequel, Batman vs. Superman. It doesn’t look half bad, come on!
Snyder has recently shared a photo on Twitter of the new Batmobile (half covered in a tarp, but still bada**) and treated the fans to an extra exclusive sneak peek on Tuesday, posting a shot of Affleck in his Batman gear. It’s black and white, so you know it’s legit.

Let’s be honest: anyone with a bit of muscle mass can look dangerous and mysterious in a Batman costume. The concern for Affleck being too much of a pansy or having too prominent a Boston accent to play Bruce Wayne is just silly. Nobody could picture scrawny English boy, Christian Bale, playing Batman either, but it worked. Or Heath Ledger as Joker, but then he completely reimagined that character and made it his own. Affleck has developed a keen eye for great roles in the recent years; we’re going to have to trust him on this one.
With Batman vs. Superman, we also get to look forward to seeing Henry Cavill reprise his role as Superman, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman (so excited!) and Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luther. Sounds like crazy party to us. The film is currently slated for release on May 6, 2016.
What do you think of Ben Affleck as Batman? Will it work? How are you liking these sneak peeks?
