Adam Levine looks like the front man of an ’80s synthpop band

Hey, sometimes you have to be honest. The beautiful Adam Levine has undergone a hair transformation and emerged with bleached blond locks. We’re not totally on board with it.

We’re big fans of Adam Levine — and everything pertaining to — around here. Seriously, what’s not to love? Killer pipes, tattoos, stunning good looks, foxy eyes, that luscious brown hair… Oh! Well, axe on the hair.

It turns out Levine is quite a daredevil when it comes to his mane and has really taken a leap by bleaching it blond. And to be more precise, the blondest of the blondest blonds in the Land of Blond. You guys, it’s really blond. Just take a look:

In case you were wondering, the sultry brunette on his shoulder is Levine’s fiancée, Behati Prinsloo. Now, back to the hair. It’s not that it looks bad per se, but he looks like the lead singer of an ’80s synthpop or new wave band. If we plopped him into a Thompson Twins music video, he would look right at home with a keyboard or a Caribbean steel drum, no? Come on…
Don’t get us wrong — Levine is still devilishly good-looking and will pull off this look, but all we want to see right now is him in a cheesy music video holding a keytar. Is that so much to ask for?

What do you think of his new do? Is he rocking it, or not so much?
