Whoa, have you seen this list? The Osheaga Music and Arts Festival has announced the majority of this year’s lineup, and it’s pretty drool worthy! Whatever your taste is, there will be an artist for you.
The music festival will be taking place at Parc Jean-Drapeau in Montreal from Aug. 1 to 3. The three-day passes are now on sale, with general admission fetching $250; the gold festival pass, which boasts better seating, private bathrooms and fancy vendors, going for $550; and the “experience pass” selling for $950.
Since these tickets are not cheap — don’t forget the extra cost of transportation and accommodation for non-Montrealers — the lineup better be sweeter than apple pie. And it is. Oh, it is. Ch-ch-check it out:

OutKast is just one of those bands (or rather duos) you simply must see. They have made many glorious contributions to hip hop (Stankonia, anyone?) and have quite an eccentric style.
2. Jack White

Jack White is an artist with the potential to rival some of the greats. He’s lyrically and musically talented, not to mention versatile. But really, you should see him just to watch him play guitar. It’s pretty impressive.
3. Arctic Monkeys

Arctic Monkeys is really setting the scene on fire. With its ever-evolving style, this band is bound to stick around, and you should see them before their tickets become unaffordable. Plus, the band’s latest album, AM, is amazing. And lead singer Alex Turner is a dreamboat.

Do we need to tell you why you should see Lorde? She’s quickly rising to be one of the biggest names in music, and it’ll be a fantastic experience to watch her live. You won’t regret it!
And those are just the big acts. Other musicians to play at the festival include Skrillex, Foster the People, the Replacements, Kodaline, Chvrches, Band of Horses (pictured on top), Haim, Gogol Bordello, Sam Roberts Band and others yet to be announced. Needless to say, you shan’t be bored. Single-day tickets will be going on sale later on. Do you think you’ll be heading out to Osheaga this year?
