Since, according to Tyra Banks, Life-Size is now getting a sequel, we would like to remind everyone of a few other films still waiting for a second instalment.

Lohan played Casey, who accidentally turns her Barbie-like doll, Eve (Banks), into a human. The ending definitely left room for a sequel, but we’re surprised it took them 14 years to finally get one going.
“I have a meeting today to go over the script! I swear! I don’t think it’ll be out until probably 2015, but I’m guessing it could be late 2014 or 2015. But it will be back. Life-Size will be back, better than ever,” Banks coyly told Digital Spy.
The 40-year-old supermodel did not reveal whether Lohan is on board for the sequel as well or what the premise of the film is going to be. But who cares? It’s a Life-Size sequel—we’ll take anything we can get!
Whilst on the topic, there are a few other family-oriented films we wish would get a sequel, no matter how crazy it is! Here are our picks:
1. The Goonies
Obviously we’d put this one in the first spot. It’s a classic. Who wouldn’t pay up to see the rascals of the Goon Docks set out on another adventure? We know we would. The problem with a Goonies sequel is that even Mikey (Sean Astin) is now 42 years old, so it would either have to be a movie about middle-aged men searching for treasure, or the film would need a brand new cast. This one will have to remain a pipe dream.
2. The Incredibles
OK, are we the only ones who think the end of The Incredibles left plenty of room for a sequel? It was practically set up for another movie, yet it’s been 10 years without even a scrap of hope! Director Brad Bird has been talking about a second instalment for a while, but nothing has come of it. Get it together, people!
3. The Iron Giant
Um, where is the sequel to The Iron Giant? At the end, the pieces of the giant hop around to rebuild him, he opens his eyes, and then the end? We don’t think so. We want to know what happens. What does he do? We’ve been left hanging for 15 years. That’s not cool. We blame Brad Bird again.
4. Mean Girls
No. No. No. That sad direct-to-video excuse of a sequel unleashed upon our unsuspecting eyeballs in 2011 was not good enough. It didn’t even have the original cast or writers! We want a Tina Fey-penned, Lindsay Lohan-starring, Rachel McAdams-co-starring, genuine sequel. We will camp outside Fey’s apartment if we have to…
