What a relief! Ashley Tisdale’s long-time stalker, Nicholas Fiore, was sentenced to a year in jail and five years of probation after continuously harassing the actress.
Phew! Ashley Tisdale can finally exhale.
Per Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office, Nicholas Fiore, pleaded no contest to stalking the 28-year-old actress and was sentenced to one year in jail as well as a year of outpatient counselling.
Fiore was also given five years of formal probation and a ten-year restraining order from Tisdale. Well, that oughtta do it!
The 21-year-old stalker has been pursuing Tisdale since 2012 and has sent thousands of messages to her via Twitter. He has also made threatening statements toward the actress and her new fiancé, Christopher French. Tisdale received a three-year order of protection against Fiore back in June after the latter showed up at her residence and tried to contact her on numerous unsolicited occasions.
On a brighter note, Tisdale did get engaged to her boyfriend, Christopher French, just last month and is reportedly gearing up to appear in an ABC Family pilot, Young and Hungry. So, things are not all bad!
We’re certainly glad Fiore will no longer be bothering the actress, at least for the duration of his jail time. This gives Tisdale plenty of time to plan out that big ol’ wedding of hers!
