She’s a talented lady — that’s for sure. Showcasing her patience and devotion, Tilda Swinton performed a piece at the MoMa and slept in a glass box all day.
Tilda Swinton surprised the patrons of New York City’s museum MoMA by partaking in a performance piece “The Maybe,” which entailed her sleeping in a glass box the entire day.
The 52-year-old kicked off the exhibition on Saturday and did stick to the box for the whole day, with only a mattress, pillow and water to keep her company. Swinton is expected to perform several more times throughout the year in different locations within the museum.

The actress actually performed this piece before, way back in 1995, at the Serpentine Gallery in London. It’s been awhile, but she’s still got it.
At least she’ll be very well rested after each performance, right? We don’t think many people can sleep in a glass box with hundreds of people constantly staring at them. What do you think of this performance piece?
