Lindsay Lohan is ready to put everything behind her. The actress is apparently getting involved in community service and charity to reroute her life.
This is a little unprecedented…
Lindsay Lohan‘s lawyer, Mark Heller, who is representing the actress in her probation violation case, has filed an unexpected legal motion to move the case on a “slow track” to permit the actress time to collect herself.
Per legal documents, the motion will “enable the Defendant who is pursuing and participating in certain activities which will benefit her and afford her more of an opportunity to be a productive and responsible person and contributor to society.”

The document continues to state that “the Defendant has made a commitment to herself to elevate her life and participate in activities which will advance her desire to lead a model life.”
According to an E! News source, Lohan has apparently committed herself to various charitable causes and has “finally made a decision to turn her life around.”

While she’s busy with public service, Heller is attempting to prove that Lohan did not lie to an officer during a car accident last year. Good luck with that…
So, is this a good idea? Bad idea? Can Lindsay turn her life around?
