Jennifer Lawrence talks Zero Dark Thirty

She’s talented, she’s beautiful, and she’s also hilarious! Jennifer Lawrence chatted with David Letterman last night and joked about being cast in Zero Dark Thirty.

We think she could actually pull it off better, but…

The beautiful and hilarious Jennifer Lawrence paid David Letterman a visit last night and quipped about her acting career. So, what’d she saaay?

Well, Letterman is a funny guy too. The late night show host jested that Lawrence should have been cast in the thriller Zero Dark Thirty. The actress seemed keen on the idea as well.

“I should’ve been in the background, like, ‘Yeah, catch him! Obama!'” Then adding, “Obama? I mean Osama… Bin Laden! Don’t catch Obama! Sorry. Sorry, Mr. President.”

We’d pay to see that! Judging from her performance wielding a bow and arrow in The Hunger Games, we’d say she would do just fine in a thriller. But fun fact: Lawrence never learned acting professionally but has already been nominated for an Academy Award twice, most recently for Best Actress in Silver Linings Playbook. How does that even work?

“I was a big liar when I was a child,” she told Letterman. “I was just like a pathological liar when I was a kid. I just always lied about everything, and I think it was partly I just wanted to one-up somebody.”

You hear that? So if your kid is a massive liar, maybe he or she is destined for acting greatness? Something to think about…

We love us some J.Law any day of the week. Do you think she should win the Oscar for Best Actress?
