Oh, the life of a royal… Kate Middleton and Prince William have opted for a low-key Christmas at the Middleton family’s home instead of a royal celebration with the queen.
It appears there shan’t be a dinner with Grandmama this year, who just happens to be the Queen of the United Kingdom and all the Commonwealth territories… No biggie!
Kate Middleton and Prince William have decided to spent the holidays with the Middleton family this year at their home in Bucklebury, England.
“The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge will spend Christmas Day privately with the Middleton family,” a representative of the St. James’ Palace announced.
Aw… No pumpkin pie with Queen Elizabeth II? No turkey carving with Prince Charles? What kind of Christmas is that? We don’t understand…
We must admit it’ll likely do the duchess a wealth of good to be with her family during the holidays, considering the immense difficulties she’s endured dealing with acute morning sickness.
The royal (and expectant) couple is still planning to visit the monarch at the Sandringham estate in Norfolk sometime during the holidays. All is good!
What do you think Christmas with the queen is like?
