It hasn’t been an easy pregnancy for Kate Middleton, but the duchess seems to be feeling much better. The expectant royal has made her first public appearance since the big announcement.
Despite battling some severe morning sickness, Kate Middleton hath returned to her royal duties, starting with paying a visit to the BBC Sports Personality of the Year ceremony at the ExCel London yesterday.
“Her Royal Highness will present the Lifetime Achievement and the main Sports Personality of the Year Awards,” a rep told E! News prior to the award show. “The Duchess will attend the event in response to a long-standing invitation from the BBC.”
In her first public appearance since the pregnancy announcement, the Duchess of Cambridge presented the Sports Personality of the Year award to Bradley Wiggins.
Middleton was forced to cancel her previous four engagements due to hospitalization while dealing with hyperemesis gravidarum. Prince William and Middleton are expecting their first child together.
Good to see her out and about. We hope the duchess will stay in excellent health. Opinions?
