Miley Cyrus loves her dogs, which makes the news even more distressing. The star’s Yorkie-mix pup, Lila, has passed away.
Dog-loving singer-actress Miley Cyrus has been hit with a tragedy.
Cyrus’ adorable canine Lila has passed away after being hospitalized a few months ago.
“Can’t think of one good reason to get out of bed today…,” the actress tweeted. “For everyone asking… I have never been so hurt in my life. My heart has never been so broken….. Lila my sweet baby girl has passed away.”
The pup, a Yorkie mix, turned 2 only in November and has been a solid guest star in many of Miley’s Twitter photos. The star is so affected by the passing, she is even thinking of taking a break from tweeting.
“Broken. Gonna go MIA for a bit. Need some healing time. Thank you to everyone who has sent love my way. I need it,” she posted.
Luckily Cyrus has plenty of pets to help her through this difficult time. She’s a proud mama to five other dogs: Ziggy, Floyd, Penny Lane, Mary Jane and Happy. Oh, she also has a loving fiance, Liam Hemsworth.
