Perhaps she can finally get some rest. Kate Middleton has been discharged from the hospital after a brief stay for treatment of severe morning sickness.
We suppose the reporters can take a rest now…
Kate Middleton was discharged from the hospital this morning after being treated for an acute form of morning sickness.
The Duchess of Cambridge, who is less than 12 weeks pregnant, was admitted to King Edward VII’s Hospital on Monday for treatment of hyperemesis gravidarum. She was put on a steady regimen of medication and managed for dehydration.
Prince William, who has spent most of his week at his wife’s side, left the hospital with Kate (who was clutching a lovely yellow bouquet). The duchess is expected to rest at Kensington Palace.
“Their Royal Highnesses would like to thank the staff at the hospital for the care and treatment the Duchess has received,” St. James’ Palace said in an issued statement.
There you have it. Kate will be in bed, sipping chicken broth and eating croutons. This royal baby is the first for the couple and the first grandchild of Prince Charles. He or she will be third in line to the throne of the United Kingdom.
