Jay-Z talks parenting and spoiling Blue Ivy
This is a side of Jay-Z we rarely get to see. The rapper opens up about parenthood and spoiling daughter Blue Ivy.
When Beyonce and Jay-Z brought a beautiful baby girl into this world, we all kind of figured she’d be spoiled rotten. Were we right?
In an interview on Oprah’s Master Class: Special Edition, Jay-Z sat down and discussed parenthood and daughter Blue Ivy’s gilded future.
"Well, I mean, everyone imagines they'll be a great dad," stated the rapper. "Until their teenager's saying, ‘Get away from me, Dad. You're embarrassing me!' Right? Everyone imagines that, right?"
How can Jay-Z be embarrassing? He may have 99 problems, but that ain’t one of them. Blue Ivy is simply on a steady road to being Daddy’s girl and borrowing all his chrome-rimmed rides because Mum said no.
"I imagine I'll take things I learned from my mom and things I've learned from raising my nephews, and apply that," Jay-Z joked. "Then at the end of the day, I just know I'll probably have the worst, spoiled little kid ever."
That little girl is going to take the world by storm — that’s for sure. She’ll be a singer-rapper-designer-businesswoman mega-star. Bam!
And while you ponder capitalism and its disadvantages, we leave you. Godspeed!
